Thanks to everyone

Miss M and myself would like to thank everyone for coming to our birthday party. Mine was supposed to be a suprise party. I had my suspicions when I seen all the pop and two cakes, and when dad tried to get some of the chocolate cake, I was pretty much sure. When other people showed up, I knew then, plus the fact I know my wife enough to be suspicious that she was up to something. It was nice, and I appreciated it very much. Miss M had a ball with her’s as well. I will have some video and pictures up later on this week. :-)

Miss A and Mr C had to stay home and miss the party because they both were sick and ended up missing school as well. Mr C is doing better, but Miss A is still sick and complaining of her stomach hurting, so she is going to the doctor tomorrow. Hopefully it isn’t nothing major.

On the computer front I have upgraded my Linux Ubuntu to 7.10 Gutsy Gibbon, and so far so good. I use my linux box for 90% of my web surfing. By using linux I don’t have to worry about viruses or malware. I also use linux for all my email.

We couldn’t get the pool closed down for the season today, because it is so windy, so maybe later in the week. bad thing about being down here is it is windy most of the time, but when the wind really wants to kick up, it realy kicks up down here. I have gone through 3 flag poles in 4 years. So far this one has been holding out, it got bent once, but it is still standing up.

Not much else for now, so later. :-D
