Ubuntu is the answer.

I ended up installing Ubuntu, as I thought I would. I got FreeBSD up and running… as far as the gnome desktop appearing then it locked. I tried for a couple of hours to monkey with it, then I decided it was not worth the hassle. So I installed Ubuntu and got my podcatcher running. [...]

PC-BSD and FreeBSD not worth the hassle.

Well I gave PC-BSD a try and it did setup easily and installed what a common person would need for “casual computer” usage as it promises. So I would have to say that it does deliver for what it says it does. I personally did not like it, because I could not get my podcatcher [...]

Appalling

I just read The Burlington Hawkeye newspaper and I found it appalling to read that Exxon has squirmed out of paying the people of Alaska, especially Cordova, anything for the 1989 spill of the Valdez. They have had a judge cut the awarded money in half, and now they are trying to get the United [...]

Hard Drive CRASH!!!!

The reason it has been such a delay since my last entry is that I have been busy getting what data I had off of a dying hard drive. I did get all my data off before it completely died. And of course it had to be my newest external [...]

Good Visit

I took my wife out to supper for her birthday, which happens to be the same day as Valentine’s Day. We went to Applebees and had a good dinner. It was rather pricey, but good. Afterwards we went and visited with my parents, and it was nice to get away from the kids and have [...]

Currently seating is availiable by reservations only. After there we went to Death by Chocolate sponsored by Grade A Plus which was a lot of fun. I got [...]

Peeing is more important than possum

Not much has happened. I have a new audio at the bottom. Jo had to take kid to ER last night, details in the audio. Macy had a run in with an opossum. Other than that not much else, do have a little info on digital phones. So listen to the audio and see.
Current: Temp: [...]

Different Look

As you probably noticed, I made a few changes to the color scheme of the site. Also I added the Day, Date and time of each post at the bottom right of each post, and as a result I edited my previous post and removed the date from the title to give it a cleaner [...]
