Life from the Middle

Finally, a sunny day and no rain in the forecast for almost a week. Yea! Tired of getting a wet basement. When I left last night around 8:00pm, for the first time I could still actually see the sunset, which means the days are getting longer. Usually I like the cold and winter, but not his year. Not real sure why, either. Maybe it is because I’m getting older. My main gripe about spring and summer is mowing the grass, which usually takes me about 4 hours, and 2 1/2 gallons of gas which at todays rate of $3.25 a gallon equates to over $8 a week, just to mow the damn grass! Oh, well, need to slow down and live life and turn it over to the big guy upstairs. Later………SD+LL/mlm
