Good news is that the river is forcasted to be back below flood stage on Thursday, and the really good news is that there is no rain in the forcast (as of today) between now and Thursday. YEA! Not sure of how many weeks it has been since the river was below flood stage, but it has been a long stressing while. Things are pretty much back to normal, still need to get the yard mowed. Plan on doing that on Wednesday, and the bug guy and the county health department is coming out to check the water quality to make sure our water is safe.
The deer population is unbelievable, I see deer in places and crossin gthe raod in place they have not done before. Have to watch all the time now, as they are crossing the road at all times of the day now. Had a good size buck almost run into the side of my car on 225th this morning, had my window down and heard gravel kicked up and looked and saw him just jump out of the corn and just miss the back of my car. I never saw him running in the corn until I heard him.
